The surrounding environment is really beautiful, especially the houses in the small town, which are very unique. The hotel rooms are quite large, and it takes 10 to 25 minutes to go shopping in the surrounding supermarkets. The only drawback is that the surrounding shops close very early...

My daughter and I recently stayed here during their annual Peach Festival, and had a wonderful experience. Our room was above the Nissley Vineyards store and had an assigned parking spot (very helpful). The room was clean and beautiful. The staff at the front desk are welcoming and are happy to help at any time. My daughter brought a bag of microwave popcorn that she wanted to enjoy and the staff were happy to microwave it for her with the staff microwave since we didn't have a microwave in our room. They even offered to have a microwave installed in our room, free of charge! this was our first time to the Village together and to a festival and we had a great time. We loved the sand sculptures as well!

We spent our wedding anniversary at the Golden Plough Inn and I can't say enough about how wonderful the experience was. The hotel was kind enough to give us a very nice discount because of the special reason for our trip and they put us in a HUGE room with a fireplace and soaking tub. The room was very clean and comfortable with nice COTTON bedding. So many hotels are switching to "microfiber" or whatever but nothing beats cotton for comfort and style. They even gave us a room close to the dinner theater at the Cock and Bull where we spent our special evening. The hotel has an adjacent full service restaurant and a nice library to enjoy a sip of water or cup of coffee on a rainy afternoon. The staff was very professional and accommodating. While the shopping at Peddler's Village is awesome and there are lots of nice restaurant choices, there are also so many museums, historical attractions, outdoor adventures....we are already planning our next trip. Thank you so much!

We stayed at the Golden Plough Inn for one night. We were originally given a room in the main lodge, however, our room was not as clean as we would like( I will leave out specifics) and the hallway had a damp mildew smell. The staff did try to give solutions, and finally did remedy the situation by changing our room to a different building and comped us an extra room for our young adult daughters (There were no other rooms with double beds). This new building was renovated a couple of years ago and the rooms were large and clean. This inn is in a great location, and if you decide to stay, I would suggest requesting a room in a newly renovated building. I must thank the staff that helped us later on in the day. The manager showed me the other building and they really did try to make it work for us which we appreciate tremendously!

Where do I begin with this....it is huge. They have 3 different buildings surrounding Peddler's Village. We were in the main inn in a 2-Queen room staying on the 2nd floor. Buttonwood Grill was right downstairs where we had breakfast every morning. Loved it. Please note that if you need an elevator, you might want to consider staying in the main inn. Parking is very easy. They assign you a spot which was across the street. I would stay there again.

we slept incredibly well. Centrally located in a great area that is totally groomed for families. There are a few restaurants that are very good, including the cock and bull and Earls. Definitely would like to go back.

Loved the place!! Don’t remember exactly when we stayed here. It was a few years back. But our experience was like no other and made my wife a believer!! We had two experiences! One was at the bar where a glass had flipped on its own!! Without being touched!!! And witnessed by us and the bartender who was just as surprised! It was then told to us that the place has some stories and history!!

Hotel very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was quiet, large in size, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. Sitting area on first floor with free coffee and water. Only downfall is parking is across the street and can be a hassle for some with mobility issues.

When I booked this hotel, it was stated clearly on my confirmation that I would pay upon arrival . HOWEVER, this hotel charges for your complete stay 4 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL DATE. They said they do this once the cancellation policy goes into effect although I didn’t cancel my reservation. THIS ISN’T STATED ANYWHERE IN THEIR CANCELLATION POLICY. So they charge your card for the full amount even though you haven’t arrived yet OR COMPLETED YOUR STAY. Many other honest hotels and B&Bs in the area that charge their fee at the time of check out. This is so wrong!
